Luckily, such things do not extinguish easily, not even in the cold depths of the ocean, and across spans of time. I am so sorry for this loss which will never leave any of you...just because it was so untimely (for lack of better wording). I am sorry that I've been absent...my husband's father died this morning after a hectic week that started on Valentine's Day. There's that awful February fog again. :( L. This is so terribly, awfully bleak because I knew what it was going to be about, and yet I find myself focused on the brightness you describe in his eyes, that surely came from his soul.
Luckily, such things do not extinguish easily, not even in the cold depths of the ocean, and across spans of time.
