Jen Karuza Schile has published nearly 100 stories and articles in National Fisherman magazine and was published in Pacific Fishing. Her essays have been published in the anthologies A Matter of Choice: 25 People Who Transformed Their Lives and Steady as She Goes: Women’s Adventures at Sea, for which she participated in a series of readings.
Jen facilitates a writing circle and contributes to the newsletter for the Story Circle Network, a national organization of women life-writers. She received an honorable mention in the memoir category of the Writer’s Digest Writing Competition. Recently, Jen was a guest blogger at The Writer Mama Riffs (December 2008) and had an essay published in National Fisherman magazine (February 2009).
One of Jen’s recent personal essays, “True Blue,” was chosen for publication in the anthology PS: What I Didn’t Say, set for release in the Fall of 2009.
